Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 26th September 2010 in aid of the Colorectal Research Fund , I am undertaking a 12km Walk in the beautiful Richmond Park.
I have decided to do this walk because now I am 50 this is about as much as I can do! seriously though, this is a very fine cause and a friend of mine put me onto it due to his late wife's terrible experiences of bowel cancer. The Colorectal Research Fund are a small independent charity who run research projects into Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease and Bowel Cancer.
The money I raise from this walk will help to fund research projects into different types of bowel disease. At the moment, nobody knows what causes Crohn's Disease, and there is currently no cure. By raising money for this small charity, doctors will hopefully be able to come up with some answers for this, and also other forms of bowel disease.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
