On Thursday 9th August 2012 I shall be participating in a life long dream of doing a Skydive for charity. The charity I have chosen to jump for is the US Chesed Bursary Fund.

The US Chesed Bursary Fund is a special charity that has been set up to help the children of families who are under real financial pressure attend and enjoy well organised Day and Summer Camps in the UK and/or on a life – changing trip to Israel together with their friends, all in the hope that these families will foster a life – long love for Judaism and Israel.

What has encouraged me to do this insane act of jumping out a plane from a few thousand feet is that I know that all monies raised will help to ensure that no child misses these important experiences. In the current economic climate, with many families struggling to provide the basics, the need to provide grants is even greater than ever.
