Oh dear, what have I gone and done!

I will be cycling from London to Paris from 3rd - 6th September to raise money for a very worthy charity.

It seemed like such a great idea for someone who is a little overweight, smokes and drinks too much and hasn't ridden a bike for nearly 15 years!

However, as part of my commitment to this challenge, I pledge to give up smoking, there is no way I would be able to complete this challenge without doing so. The drink, well, in moderation I'm sure I'll cope.

I recently visited a local hospice and witnessed the fantastic work that they do. The support they offer to the whole family is amazing and the facilities and quality of care is just exceptional.
