I will be taking part in an annual sponsored cycle ride on 27th June 2014 from Molineux football ground in Wolverhampton to the seaside town of Aberdovey on the Welsh Coast along with over 500 other riders. The event is organised by the police and has ran every year since the early 1990's becoming an annual feature of many peoples sporting diaries. I took part in the event for the first time last year raising over £1200 for various good causes.

This year I have decided to support MacMillan Cancer Support via Just Giving. Having experienced their level of care and support provided to family members over recent years I thought it appropriate to give them a helping hand.

MacMillan provided support to my late father who was a keen cyclist all his life, and took part in the same event in the 1990's, coming in 1st! Although of course it was not intended as a race! I cant imagine that I will beat that but I hope to improve on last years time of 7 hours.

I understand that many of you sponsored me last year which was very much appreciated, lets see what we can achieve this year.
