Welcome to the fundraising page for the LCC London Firewalk

Ever dreamt of seeing your management cowering in fear, and faced with excruciating pain and embarrassment?

Fisher-Jones, Teano, Kemp and Kingsbury stand ready (they’ll be sending Whitehead across first to check that everything’s safe, obviously!) to give you the chance to make those dreams come true, and help our departmental charity at the same time!

Every £500 raised towards our target forces another one of our "celebrities" on to the starting line for the LCC Firewalk, a 20 foot long pit of burning embers at 800 degrees Fahrenheit that they will have to cross barefoot(!) in front of as many of you as can make the trip to witness this very special event!

Of course the real reason for all of this is to raise money for a very special children's charity - Rainbow Trust – that the department in London have chosen to support in 2010. They provide practical and emotional support to families facing the unimaginable prospect of losing a child to a life threatening or terminal illness.

The Firewalk itself is taking place on Thursday 28 October at the Brit Oval, London.  Spectators are very much welcome and tickets are available from the charity though this link - there will be food and drink on sale and apparently some fiery evening entertainment as well as a party afterwards to take the pain away!

Thank you very much indeed for your support.
