Story

Help us Help the Homeless!

On 2nd October, some of the Head Resourcing IT team are sleeping out as part of the IT industry's ByteNight 2009.

This is to raise much needed funds for Action for Children, who work with young homeless people. We will be ‘sleeping' alongside ScotlandIS and other members of the Scottish IT community in Holyrood Park, Edinburgh, come wind and rain, with only an umbrella to keep off the elements.

It's a serious problem - in the current economy even more young people face the despair of homelessness and with winter approaching we want to do all we can to help.   Action for Children work with these young people, providing them with secure accommodation, and helping them access training and work.

If you would like to support our fundraising and help this very needy part of our community, please use the "Donate now" button above and give whatever you can.

Thanks in advance,

The Sleep-Heads

(aka Anna, Fiona, Guy, Nick, Lee and Lisa)
