Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page...

Most of us spend far too much time sitting in an office in front of a computer and not enough time outside enjoying our country. A select few at Meridian Outdoor felt the same way and decided to get out there and doing something worthy.

But where to go? Somewhere with great vista's... not easily accessible... something a little different.. Snowdonia in Wales may sound neither different or challenging, however after a little research I discovered the Snowdon Horsehoe:

A semi circular ridge walk with a max height 2855ft above sea level. Despite being only 8.5 miles round (we plan to increase this) it is graded "hard" by "WalkingBritain.co.uk" and many other recognised bodies. Throughout the walk one is utterly exposed to the elements, there are sections where the crossing has to be done on all fours, moreover in bad weather trekkers often have to turn back - it's no picnic!

So dig deep and help us topple our rather conservative £2000 target!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breakthrough Breast Cancer will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
