Story
So what are we doing this time for our favourite charity, Sebastian's Action Trust? After the last activity, a sky dive from 15,000 feet, we are keeping our feet firmly on the ground this time!
We want to raise as much money as possible to help create and maintain a beautiful woodland walk for the families being supported at the charity's new centre in Crowthorne.
So, four intrepid old fogies will be setting out from Sarria in the north west region of Spain and attempting to walk the 120km to Santiago de Compostela, the capital city of Galicia. The Compostela is a certificate of accomplishment given to pilgrims on completing the 'way'.
We aim to complete the trek in 6 days, hopefully without too many blisters along the way and whilst sampling the regions fine wine and food to ease the aches and pains of our dodgy old hips and feet!
We aim to stop at Portomarin, Palas de Rei, Melida, Arzua, Opedrouzo and finishing at the shrine of the apostle St James in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
Please sponsor us by km walked, by blisters gained, by number of glasses of Rioja consumed or just in recognition of us completing the full 120kms.
Thank you from Sonia, Terry, Irene and Eduardo xx
