Today we mark 17 years since Char died.  In a month’s time, it will be Sophie and Char's 50^th birthday.   

Char had energy for life! She always cared, worried, and loved  – not only for her family and friends but for strangers and the wider community.  She would often stop and chat with someone who was homeless, giving them her heart and time. Char was also the Queen of food.  Her kitchen was always open and she could rustle up a meal from nowhere!.

In celebration of Char, Jo and I are collecting money for Food Bank Aid, a local charity supporting those who are struggling to put food on their table.  Thank you for considering making a donation to  foodbankaid.org.uk, in her memory.
