So, Joey and I have been roped into running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2010 to raise money for the Elephant Family.

I've worked closely with Mark Shand  (principle trustee) along with his incredible team and seen their dedication and huge love for the Asian elephant. 

The Asian elephant is at an all time-low. Extinction is on the cards if we do not do something to secure its shrinking habitat. Perhaps fewer than one in ten Asian elephants remain from a century before, but more worryingly, these have been squeezed into pockets of forest that is altogether twenty times smaller than it used to be. They are simply running out of space and time. Can we really allow this magnificent beast to vanish on our watch?
