It's official! I have completely taken leave of my senses and after years of watching the marathon from the comfort of the sofa I have taken the plunge and signed up! Having never run more than 3 miles before, training has been tough!!

I am running on behalf of Whizz-Kidz, a fantastic charity that is all about giving disabled children the chance to lead a more independent life. They are virtually 100% reliant on voluntary funds raised through events like the marathon and need your support to raise money so that more disabled young people can enjoy an active life. 

They provide children with customised mobility equipment, training, advice and life skills, helping to give them the independence to be themselves. They help change the lives of some of the 70,000 disabled children and young people in the UK in need of help.

Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help me on the way to my target of £2000! 

- March 21st I ran the Reading Half Marathon in 1 hour 59.... now to run twice that!!
