Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When I was 19 I was diagnosed with dyspraxia. It is a developmental co-ordination disorder that primarily effects motor control skills, but really effects all aspects of my life. Growing up there was very little awareness of dyspraxia, and even now very few people have heard of it or understand it. This year is The Dyspraxia Foundation's 30th anniversary. Running is something I struggle with because of my dyspraxia, so running 10 miles will be a huge personal challenge for me, and a leap out of my comfort zone.

About the charity

The Dyspraxia Foundation supports those with dyspraxia, their families and professionals. We raise awareness, understanding and are funded by voluntary donations and membership subscriptions. We publish literature, organise conferences and support through local groups, social networks and a helpline
