In October of this year myself and 56 others from the University of York will be running the Amsterdam Marathon.  We are raising money for Worldwide Cancer Research, a charity which funds research projects into every type of cancer known to us at the moment.  

Worldwide Cancer Research most importantly funds research projects around the world; from the University of Jerusalem in Israel to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Australia, the charity is making a big impact.  It is important for the charity that every promising research project is appraised so that cancer, such a damaging disease, can finally be cured.  

Worldwide Cancer Research have funded 1,717 projects in 34 countries so far and with the help of your donations even more worthy projects can be undertaken.
