GROW A BEARD FOR SWINDON SPECIAL CARE BABY UNIT

As you may know I have twin boys - Alex & Evan, who recently turned one in October.  I'm glad to say that they are both doing great and turning into real little characters.

Alex & Evan were born 6 weeks premature and spent the first few weeks of their life in The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.  It was a very difficult time for all of us, but thanks to the amazing level of care they received in SCBU they were able to finally come home a few weeks later, healthy & happy.

The job that the staff do in this department is absolutely outstanding and whilst our boys were in SCBU for a relatively short stay, some babies are born far more premature and with much greater complications.

I am looking to raise some money for this particular department of the Great Western Hospital to help them continue to do such a fantastic job.

I am doing a slight twist on the 'MOVEMBER' movement.  However, I am planning to grow a beard and tache (with no shaving) from 1st November 2010 - 14th December 2010.  Please note my facial hair growing ability is quite pathetic, so I may have to introduce the assistance of 'JUST FOR MEN' Beard dye somewhere during this process to make it look a little more 'BEARDY' and dampen down any ginger spots.

Please log-in for weekly photo updates and dig deep and donate now.

Many Thanks
