Story

When Katie first watched the Disney film ‘Tangled’ at a very young age of about 3, she declared that she was going to grow her hair like Rapunzel‘s 👸🏼 True to her word she grew her hair & refused to get it cut apart from a once yearly trim!

Katie is now 11 & has been considering cutting her hair for a couple of months to donate to the Little Princess Trust. The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. The charity put out an appeal a couple of months ago for blonde hair, ideally 16 inches long, so Katie has decided that as she fits the bill she will donate 16 inches 💇🏼‍♀️

She also wanted to raise money for The Children’s Cancer Unit in Belfast. Between 60-70 children in Northern Ireland are diagnosed with cancer each year. Every one of them will visit the Children’s Cancer Unit throughout their journey, as it is the only place in Northern Ireland where children can receive specialist treatment for cancer.

Please help Katie to raise money for this fantastic charity & in turn she will donate 16 inches of her precious hair at the end of January. Thank you!
