Last year at the start of the Pandemic I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, never in a million years did I ever think I would be given such news as naively I always thought it would bypass me, how wrong could I be !

I received incredible care from the NHS and was one of very few luckily ones who received treatment during the lockdown , many many people were not so lucky and have missed out on life saving and prolonging vital treatment and care.

I wanted to give something back and have chosen MacMillan local who support and care for patients with life limiting and end of life illnesses. A subject we all don't like to think or talk about but sadly a subject you could find yourself being forced to face one day.
