Along with my fellow Head teachers we will run the distance of 1000m each on the West Sands Beach, St Andrews, aiming to raise a minimum of £1000 each. 

UNICEF tells us that every 9 minutes, a new born baby dies from neonatal tetanus.  This is entirely preventable as it costs just 4p to protect a child from the danger of tetanus.  There are about 200,000 children being educated in HMC schools and therefore with a donation at the equivalent of just over £1 per pupil we could save the lives of 6.25 million children.
