Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My brother Tim died three years ago from bowel cancer (see my other web page on JustGiving for a bowel cancer charity). Tim was a great older brother to me! His brave and thoughtful struggle with cancer typified his life. In amidst this darkness, Garden House Hospice in Letchworth was a friendly and welcoming place, just what all of us needed as we tried hard to cope. Although we all hoped Tim would escape cancer, it did in the end provide about as helpful and kindly a place as we could have found for Tim's death.
As a way of raising funds for Garden House Hospice I'm cycling from Lindisfarne to St. Bees on the 1st through to the 3rd September this year. It's a great route, with a bit of Northumberland, a wander into Scotland, and a beeline to St. Bees at the end.
