Story

2009 LONDON MARATHON WAS MEANT TO BE A ONE-OFF - SOMEHOW IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN !!

For some reason known only to the darkest recesses of my brain, completing last year's London Marathon was seemingly not enough and so I am doing it again this year!

Have also added extra pressure by targeting a time at least 15mins faster than previously to finish in under 4 hours!

One thing that helps keep you going over the tough last few miles is the thought that you are raising money for a good cause.

This year I am raising funds for The Outward Bound Trust which aims to help develop the potential of young people by providing challenging and adventurous experiences - over 1 million young people have been helped since the charity was founded - http://www.theoutwardboundtrust.org.uk/obt.html

Any sponsorship will be very gratefully received and my employer, Barclays Capital, will match the first £750 I raise - so your money will go twice as far!

Many thanks

Steve
