I'm looking to raise some money for Ashgate Hospice, a fantastic charity based in Chesterfield that helps terminally-ill patients by providing palliative care.  The work they do helps many people who require in-patient or home care.

It costs Ashgate Hospice £4 million a year to provide their valuable services, of which £2.3 million needs to be raised purely through voluntary contributions and fundraising.  You can see more about the charity and what they do by visiting http://www.ashgatehospice.org/.

To do this, I'm going to be chopping off my hair, which I've been growing for the past four years!  I'm aiming to raise a thousand pounds, so please give generously!
