Story
Once again I'm heading up to Newcastle for the Great North Run - the half-marathon (13.1 miles) from Newcastle to South Shields!
And once again I'm raising funds for my favourite charity - Epilepsy Action - which as many of you will know is a cause very close to my heart.
Since doing the Baffin Island Expedition last year, I've presented to a number of support groups set up with the backing and guidance of Epilepsy Action in Sussex and London, and seen first hand the great contribution it makes to people's lives, battling not only having Epilepsy, but the societal prejudices they face at home, at work and with family and friends.
Through their help-lines, website, support groups, publications and many other forms of awareness and support, Epilepsy Action is helping thousands of people - both with Epilepsy and people close to those with Epilepsy - to improve their quality of life.
A £5 contribution to their cause would be hugely appreciated. You can read my blog to see how I do, and keep up to date with my other challenges at:

Many thanks,
Steve
