Unparalleled pressure through the media is making teenage years more stressful and damaging than ever before. We are sitting on a mental health timebomb while depression and psychological damage in young people is too easily written-off as "teenage angst" as if it is a normal part of growing up. Young Minds offer emotional support to young people and campaign for things like better provision for mental health support through schools, plus helping young people develop emotional literacy and teaching parenting skills to their guardians.
