St Mary’s vision is that everyone living with illness and death in South Lakes gets the kindness, love and expert care we’d wish for ourselves.

They give expert care and compassion so those affected by advancing illness have comfort, choice and dignity.

Bruce & Steve will be taking part in a 2-week trek to Evest Base Camp in April 2024 staying in Himalayan tea houses to rest each night and assist in acclimatisation. The Trip is self-funded by Bruce and Steve, in addition they have committed to raise at least £5,000 (hopefully with your help much more) for St Marys Hospice Ulverston, it costs over £4 million per annum for the Hospice to operate, 80% of this must be raised by the community.

Every family in Ulverston has been touched by (or will be touched by) the fantastic work that St Marys do for our community.
