Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It is that time of year again when I swim, cycle and run for charity. So that nobody underestimates the size of this challenge I am doubling the distances I did last year and right up again Jenson this time around! So that 1.5 KM swim, 40 km cycle and 10km run. All in my target time of under 2hours 30 minutes.

Another change for this year is the charity, I am now going to be doing it for the National Ankylosing Spond..... Oh bugger it NASS. They provide information and help for people, such as myself, with Ankylosing Spondilitis. AS causes inflamation in your joints so whilst sometimes you feel fine, and can do a triathlon in under 2:30, other times the crippling pain will stop you moving an inch. The best way to describe it is imagine the pain you get when stepping on a drawing pin, now imagine that pain in your hips, back neck everytime you move them.

There is also no cure for AS and I should no as I guinea pigged a new experimental drug.

So please give generously, then book a weekend in London and come down and watch me kick Jenson Buttons arse!

Thanks

Steve

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
