Story
I am riding Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) - on a mountain bike - offroad - solo - with a trailer - covering 1200 miles in 3 weeks, averaging about 55 miles per day.
When: I will be travelling to LE on 21st May, returning from Scotland on 12th June 2010.
Why I am doing this - because life is too short to think I may do it sometime. I think it will be a great challenge, but also an opportunity to really push myself and dig into the mental and physical reserves (the latter I have plenty!).
And why Wells for India - because I have always had a long affection for India, and despite India's economic growth, there remains real poverty and issues to tackle. Wells for India is a small Winchester-based charity, working in Rajasthan, and focused on providing sustainable water supplies to the desert and hill lands, as well as supporting village communities to help themselves. 98% of their revenue goes to projects with high accountability. Your contributions will make a real and noticeable difference. Visit www.wellsforindia.org .
I am also supporting the UK charity, Shelter which provides services for the homeless. Please visit my site:

if you would also like to contribute to this valuable charity.
