UPDATE - Today i completed the run in 2hrs 5min and am just about in one piece. Thank You all so much for helping me pass my total you are all so generous and have made all the hard work worth while. Again THANK YOU.

I’m running the EDF Birmingham half Marathon on October 24^th in the memory of my Nephew Daniel who lost his life on 3^rd July 2001 at the tender age of 15. He had been involved in a terrible road accident and didn’t recover from his injuries. With Daniel as my driving force and the opportunity to raise some money for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital I know that I will definitely complete the 13.1 miles run I’m just hoping it’s still light when I cross the finishing line.

Please do not feel pressured into sponsoring me but if you do the money will go towards the benevolent fund that helps bereaved families with counseling & help with coping with the loss of a child. My family received help & I feel it would be nice to give something back in the memory of Dan who was a great Kid.
