We help seriously & terminally ill children to live life to the full.

Story

Well, that was nothing short of torture. We managed to finish, but we both had problems. For both of us it was the toughest physical challenge we have ever done.

Lin's story - going really well up to 15 miles and felt quite confident of a decent time. However the right knee had other ideas and by mile 16 the pain was excruciating. The next 10 miles was a long, painful hobble.

Stu's story - going really well up to 19 miles then that wall appeared. The legs were being repeatedly pierced by sharp instruments and the last 7 miles was sheer agony.

It is amazing how many emotions you go through. Your body continues to tell you to stop this ridiculous ordeal but your head doesn't listen.

Never again is an understatement....

However, painful as it was then, and stiff as we are now, the reason we did this was to raise money for a fantastic children's hospice - Claire House. (www.claire-house.org.uk). Thank you to everyone who has helped us beat our fundraising target and for all your good wishes along the way. Lin and Stu x
