Story

Thanks for visting the Sue Hunt Memorial Fund JustGiving page.

Sue was a much loved wife, mum, grandma, auntie and friend who lost her courageous battle with cancer on July 27th 2010. Sue spent the last three weeks of her life at the Salisbury Hospice, where she received warm, friendly and attentive care from the centre's doctors, nurses and volunteers.

Throughout her life Sue was committed to caring for her family and many of her jobs involved supporting people in the community. We think that a fitting memorial to Sue is to set up this fund, the proceeds of which will go towards maintaining the invaluable care work provided by Salisbury Hospice, who rely greatly on charitable support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you very much for your support.

About the charity

The hospice costs £2.9 million to run, with Salisbury Hospice Charity aiming to raise £1.5 million of the funding required. Over 1,000 people a year are helped both in the hospice and in the wider community. Without your help this could not have been achieved. Thank you.
