WHY is the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund special to me?

It has been my intention to do some fund-raising in aid of the Gorilla's since I was privileged to visit them in the Congo in 1998. I may not be able to run a marathon but I am very good at parties! So rather than die, in a hot Gorilla suit for sponsorship, I hosted a cool evening at my house in Upper Bucklebury (UK), serving clever cocktails and sexy mocktails! The Gorillas are magnificent vegetarians and only live in one place  in Central Africa (which spans three war-torn countries).  Grauer’s Gorillas, in particular, are considered to be one of the world’s 25 most-endangered primates and an estimated 80 percent have been lost in the last 20 years. https://gorillafund.org/
