Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Anaphylaxis UK is the only UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. While there’s no treatment or cure for anaphylaxis, we believe that by providing information, training and support, there is a brighter future.

Story

Ok, so this may be a bit last minute, but ... until last Friday, I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to run the London Marathon this year because of injury. But I've now been given the ahead (yay!), so I'd really really like to make those 26.2 miles count - every step of the way - by raising money for the Anaphylaxis Campaign! Life for those with a life-threatening allergy (like my son, Victor) isn't easy, with an emergency dash to hospital an ever-present possibility, every day of the year. The Anaphylaxis Campaign do a brilliant job at supporting kids like him (and grown-ups of course), helping to make life just that bit easier for sufferers and to make sure that this condition isn't forgotten.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

However much or little you could donate would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
