Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2015, I will once again dusting off my running shoes and be taking part in the London Marathon. This time I will be looking to raise money for Children in Crisis, to help vulnerable kids all over the world, a cause that I really believe in.
Children in Crisis was established in 1993 in the UK to give children in some of the world’s poorest countries the education they need to help transform their lives. Their vision and belief is that all children should receive the learning needed for their flourishing and wellbeing. Where resources are few, where education is needed to heal the nation, and where it is too remote for others, their aim is to support children to read, write, think, pursue their life goals and contribute positively to their communities. As a recent UNESCO report stated “the number of children out of school is falling too slowly.” According to current global trends, 56 million children will still be out of school in 2015. This is why the work of Children in Crisis is so valuable in providing the necessary support to ensuring these kids receive the education and learning they deserve.
So I am hoping you can donate to my JustGiving page and help to achieve my £1500 fundraising goal.
