I've been persuaded to do another sponsored walk! On 9th June, along with around 50 other colleagues and friends, I'll be walking the 21.25 mile Trent Valley Way from Nottingham to Newark Castle in aid of breast cancer research at the University of Nottingham.

The research is focussed on 3 key breast cancer topics and the University is raising funds to support this: Detect it early; Stop the spread, and Treat it right.

Personally I've been touched by several family members, friends and colleagues who have been diagnosed and treated for breast cancer in recent years, and so I would again like to do this walk for them and for the many women diagnosed each year.

Lots of you very kindly sponsored me when a team of us walked the Robin Hood Way 2 years ago, and we raised over £22,000 then. It would be great if you could spare something to sponsor me this time.
