I have frontal fibrosing alopecia.  No one knows what causes it and there is no treatment or cure. Alopecia UK and the support they and their members have given me has been invaluable.  I have begun to regain my confidence and face up to my future as a bald woman. It's my turn now to give back to the charity which was there when I needed it most.

This 10k run is part of a 'double' which I am aiming to complete this summer.  In August I will also be taking part in a Total Warrior event.
