Hello and thankyou for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After reading my local KM newspaper, I have decided to abseil down the cliff at Ramsgate. Never having done this before, apart from being a personal challenge, it will hopefully raise money to donate to the Pilgrims Hospices. This is a charity dear to my heart as it was here that my dad was given such wonderful care in the last days of his life.

He wished that he could win the Lottery so that he could donate every penny to them. I could never reach his target so I have left mine blank - every penny counts!

Pilgrims Hospices is a charity providing specialist palliative care, free of charge, to people in East Kent.

They care for people with illnesses that cannot be cured from three sites, in patient's homes or via community programmes. Support is also given to families and carers.

£8million each year is needed to continue delivering this care and I know that whatever I can raise will go towards making such a difference to all who are cared for there.
