I have wanted to do the Jurassic Coast Challenge for some time now. Those of you who know me well will know I attempt some crazy challenge at least once a year. I took 2013 off having nearly been broken by the South Downs Challenge in 2012, but now feel its time to put the walking boots back on!

There are 14 of us taking part in the Challenge (all work colleagues) and we start our three day challenge on the 14 June. We will complete the challenge in 3 days. We trek mainly on the coastal path, which ranges from grassy or stony paths to wide dusty tracks; there are some tarmac road sections and gravel tracks but most importantly there are MANY steep inclines both up and down along the cliff tops - there is little flat!!

To add a whole new layer of challenge for me, we will be staying in Youth Hostels with shared bathroom facilities!!!
