Story

I will be running the Loch Ness Marathon to raise money for HaNC - Head and Neck Cancer Support and Research (part of The Aintree University Hospital Charitable Fund) in everlasting and loving memory of Mike Renshall.  Mike is hugely missed each and every day by family, friends and colleagues.

Throughout Mike's journey with cancer, the specialist care he received at University Hospital Aintree was outstanding.  I know Mike was very grateful to all those at Aintree who helped him - in particular Mr Lancaster, Terry Lefebure and the doctors and nurses in Ward 28 and the CCU.

HaNC aims to support those affected by this type of cancer - to raise awareness, and to fund research carried out by the clinicians at the Mersey Regional Head and Neck Cancer Centre into the causes and possible future treatments.

About the charity
