I will be braving the open water (and donning a wetsuit, oh please!!) to Swim in the Great East Swim on 26 September at Alton Water in Suffolk!

As well as doing this for myself (to see if I can actually make it) I am also hoping to raise money for a very worthwhile charity which has and continues to be a great resource and support for people with life threatening allergies and for those caring for people with anaphylaxis.

I will let you know how I get on, but worringly I'm not allowed to use a float or flippers!

I hope the water is at least warmish!
