We fund research and support to improve the lives of children with IBD

Story

Crohn's Disease is a condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system, also known as the gastrointestinal tract or gut. It is also known as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). IBD is the name of a group of illnesses, of which Crohn’s and a similar condition, called Ulcerative Colitis, are the two main ones. Approximately every 1 in 1,000 people in the UK have Crohn's Disease. I know a few people with this disease and CICRA is a charity that works closely with young people who have it and their families, and giving life-changing support to many.
