Everyone,
The walk is done (all 20 miles of it!). Its taken 3 days to recover from the emotional and physical pains of it all but I'm done. A very big thank you to all those that donated this is fantastic!!!

Dear Friends,
On Saturday 5th June I am taking part in the Pink Ribbonwalk to raise money for Breast Cancer Care - I will be doing the 20 mile Harewood House walk (yes, I said 20 and yes, I am insane!). The walk must be completed within 10 hours. I am walker number 447552 - see details attached. http://events.breastcancercare.org.uk/server/show/nav.198 I am nearly killing myself doing the training, not to mention the time I am giving to this very worthy cause. So please, please, please put your hands in your pockets and give generously. I am not a particularly athletic type (hence the walk rather than the run) and I’ve not done anything for charity since childhood. However, having been roped into the 20 mile walk (cheers Diane! :) I’m now going to do my up most to raise as much cash as I possibly can. As places are limited, I was initially set a minimum target of £175. I currently have £125 and my wonderful employers at RWE will match the total amount raised £4£ - I'm ecstatic!!! ... and now brave enough to up my target to a whopping £500!! (On the downside there's no chance of getting out of it now - whoops!!) So thanks, Liz, Marc, Jen, Jo, Dean, Gary, Susan, Sue, Roger, Eiliss… Paul, Rhi, Mick, James. Every donation will be much appreciated and if you don't want to use the site then feel free to give me the cash and I will pay it in. Thanks in advance for your generosity… and if you want to pass this link on to any other prospective sponsors then please do so. Before and after pics will be posted (for you to have a good laugh) in due course..
