Story
So we did it! We completed the Great River Race in 4hrs 35mins - significantly beating out 5hr 30min estimate. It was such a fantastic day - we were really kept going by all the people who came down to cheer us on.
Huge thanks to all sponsors & supporters.

Hello
Here is a little bit about who we are & why we are raising money for the Hospice of St Francis...
We are 7 girls who work for innocent drinks. In January we came up with a crazy idea that to unite as a strong team we would set ourselves a challenge to complete by the end of the year. After lots of deliberation we decided to enter the Great River Race - how hard can it be to row 21 miles! (very)
Our quest for toned arms has taken on a more poignent & personal challenge as tragically a member of our team, Steph, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the end of February. Steph was 6 months into her placement year from Oxford Brookes University. Sadly Steph peacefully passed away on Sunday 16th May.
The Hospice of St Francis became a huge part of Steph & her family's lives as they provided amazing support throughout a very tough 3 months. From the simple things such as getting Steph a wheelchair so that the family could have days out to providing a homely environment for her last few days. http://www.stfrancis.org.uk/Home/8.id
Please support us in our rowing efforts as your donation will be hugely appreciated & if you'd like to come & cheer us on then you will find us on the River Thames on the 25th September, http://www.greatriverrace.co.uk/
Thank you for taking the time to read our story

Charlie is also training, but on dry land to complete a ½ marathon in Bristol - she'll be able to support from the riverside for most of the route.
