Story
Team H4H are competing in the Atacama Crossing, part of the '4Deserts Series', from 7 - 13 March 2010. The Atacama Crossing is a 250km footrace run in 6 stages over 7 days with all competitors having to be completely self sufficient for the entire race. Organisers only provide water and shelter, so each person will be carrying a pack weighing approximately 10 kilos. The race starts at 3500 meters above sea level, with the entire race taking place above 1600 meters. Approximate distances for each stage are a marathon a day for the first 4 stages, followed by a double marathon for stage 5 and a 10km finish on the final day. Inov-8 have kindly donated running gear for the 3 team members and we thank them for their support.
Andy is a serving Army officer and both Pete and Rob are ex-military and as such we are well aware of the sacrifices being made by our comrades serving on operations. We therefore ask you to make a donation, every little helps and we guarantee that your donation will go a long way to improving the life of our wounded service personnel.
