We fund research and provide support to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and particular thanks to those who have already sponsored, pledged and given your support in whatever form - all donations no matter how small go a long way to saving lives.

Team Leeming is a small team of personnel based at RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire.  We work in the Air Traffic Control and Defense Fire Risk Management specialisations.  Up until 3 or 4 months ago, half of the team have never run more than 6 miles in their lives so running a half marathon was a serious challenge!

We all got round to South Shields, with Craig, Liam and Bob all posting impressive times for their 1st attempt at a half marathon.

Tats: 1hr37, Craig: 1hr55, Karen: 2hr02, Liam: 2hr10, guest runner Becky: 2hr13 and a great effort from Bob: 2hr21

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is an amazing charity that saves lives through enabling and ensuring access to improvements in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Most of us are lucky to be able to live normal healthy lives.......with ourleg-work and a little help from you, together we can ensure that those who do have to live with breast cancer, can live life to the full, without fear, no matter what the prognosis.

Many thanks for your support, especially to those who have already pledged!
