Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We are supporting JDRF because we believe that they offer the best chance of finding a cure for juvenile, or Type 1, diabetes.  On 3 July, 2006, Dylan was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and this moment changed all of our lives forever. Diabetes affects pretty much every aspect of our lives - every single day. The medication and the technology available to us us fantastic, and we are very grateful for it - but nothing in the world could compare to a cure.

On Sunday 12th September 2010, Team Burbage will be walking 5km around Regents Park in London as part of the 'Greater London Walk and Run to Cure Diabetes 2010', organised by JDRF.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) exists to find the cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications, and is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research.

So please dig deep and donate now.
