Last year I took part in the GRIM8 challenge with my friend Clare Petherbridge, just for fun! GRIM8 challenge is a run, wade, crawl off road for nearly 9 miles. Despite the fact we got mud in places I didn't think you could, and bruises on bruises we have decided to do it again this year.  So, on 4th December 2010, 10 slightly crazy people will be doing the aptly named GRIM in aid of Cancer Research UK.   

So why Cancer Research UK?  Sadly more than 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with Cancer in their lifetime. Cancer Research UK receives virtually no goverment funding for their research, so relies heavily on fundraising to fund vital research to help beat the disease.   

What ever money you can spare will be really appreciated.  £1, £5 or £500, it really does all count.
