We are Team Momentum from Message Systems. And we're raising funds to promote economic empowerment for the impoverished.
From May 10 to 12 this year, Team Momentum will be in Japan to take part in Oxfam Trailwalker - a challenging endurance fundraising event that takes place in 13 different countries.
We'll be putting our mettle to the test as we complete a 100km trail through bush terrain in 48 hours. And we're hoping you can support our efforts by donating generously to our cause! For every dollar that you donate, Message Systems will match that amount!*
For customers/partners that would like to support Oxfam through us, we would be happy to place customer logos on our event T-Shirts for a modest little bit of advertising. We need donations/logos prior to March 30th in order to get logos on our shirts (view sample image of shirt in gallery).
Team Momemtum is comprised of CEO George Schlossnagle, General Counsel & VP Joal Barbehenn, Chief Japan Representive, Eiichi Tamegai and Barbara Jones.
The money that we raise will go towards supporting Oxfam's worldwide programs such as:
Emergency Aid
- D.R.Congo "Humanitarian Aid in Conflict"
- Support for the Great East Japan Earthquake
Long-term Community Development
- South Africa "Support for People Living with HIV and AIDS"
- India "Support for the Improvement of Live livelihoods in the Mountain Villages and Prevention of Floods in the Low-lying Regions"

- Enterprise Development Programme(EDP)
