We are a bunch of horsey people that either own or ride horses in Clapton In Gordano.

We decided to take part in the Portishead Annual Raft Race for fun and to support the local Portishead Lifeboat Trust.

Portishead lifeboat are currently not part of the RNLI and have to fund the charity through organised events such as this. They are mainly if not all supported with local people as volunteers and do a fantastic job.

As a team, we have no clue about rafts, have never built one and have never been on one, so we have an interesting challenge ahead as we have to race and negotiate a course!!!!!!!!
