The BlueMooners have now completed the 26.2 mile walk, finishing the early hours of the morning 16th May 2010.   We commenced the start line full of excitement & energy and pounded the streets of London, commencing Hyde Park & passing through Westminster, Embankment, City, Battersea, Fulham, Knightsbridge, South Bank ...... until finally arriving back in Hyde Park with the sun rising ahead of us - what a beautiful & emotional moment for us all :o)

For sure the team didn't find the walk a breeze and experienced tiredness, chills, blisters but keeping ourselves hydrated & nourished kept us going to arrive back safely @ Hyde Park.

The last few miles were the worst, with us all questioning the final 1.2 miles as we thought someone had run away with the 'finish line' marker, LOL .......... but then we saw the welcoming faces as we walked across the line, a moment never to be forgotton.

Thank you to all who donated for this wonderful charity, with you all behind us really meant so much and motivated us to get through the walk, no matter what ...... thank you very very much.
