The results are in and The Bootneckettes managed a much more than respectable 5th place within the Mixed Team catagory! Not only did we complete the course in 48 minutes but everyones massively generous donations gained us some great points. So thank you all!

Nat, Rich and Jenny all made it across the finish line, wooo! over the next few days we will find out our time and upload photos from the day. eveyone was really impressed with the huge amount we made and loved the team name, generally a fantastic day! even being covered in rank smelling mud wasn't too bad once we got our awesome medals.

Only a few days to go now and everyone has been ridiculously generous. We were worried we wouldn't make our target and now it's been totally smashed! A little update :) our numbers have reduced a little as some girls have been injured over the past few months and one is having a baby! The Bootneckettes are still going strong though and we really want to make our target. Please help us achieve this and there may even be video clips from the day!

We are a group of girls who have decided to come together and show our support and pride for our partners who do the amazing job of being Royal Marine Commandos.

The Commando Challenge (http://www.commandochallenge.co.uk) involves us taking on the crazy task of completing the 4K assault course that our bootnecks did in training, getting as muddy as physically possible and rasing as much dosh as we can for some awesome charities! These are the Devon Air Ambulance Trust (http://www.daat.org) and The C Group - Supporting Royal Marines (http://www.thecgroup.org)

What we hope is that there are loads of fabulous people out there that appreciate what they do and will donate some of your hard earned cash and gain us some points in the challenge.
