We are one of three teams from 1Spatial (www.1spatial.com) trying to complete the Trailtrekker 2014 Challenge. We have just 30 hours to cover a 100km course in the Yorkshire Dales, that climbs more than Ben Nevis and Snowdon put together !  That means walking all day, and all night – quite a challenge.

In case you are wondering, our team name comes from our company name and Tom’s fondness for Chelsea FC and their manager, “The Special One”.

Update: The three 1Spatial teams successfully completed a range of distances.  Of the 12 who took part, 4 made it to 40km, 2 to 80km, and the remaining 6 got all the way to the 100km mark.  There were a fair amount of injuries by the end - some rather unpleasant blisters & missing toenails, some very stiffedlegs, and a whole lot of exhausted bodies and minds.  However, the sense of achievement we all felt at the end made it all worthwhile.
