Story
The Children’s Trust located in Tadworth, provides a specialised residential dedicated rehabilitation service for children and young people with severe acquired brain injuries from across the UK.
The Trust is embarking on a major project – the conversion and remodelling of its accommodation for children with acquired brain injuries. Originally designed as general, open wards, the building can only accommodate around 10 children at a time due to the lack of single bedrooms. In addition the lounge, the only living area for the children and their families, is the main thoroughfare for the building.
The Trust is currently processing tenders for this project and estimates that the work will cost approximately £5 million.
THIS PROJECT RELIES ENTIRELY ON DONATIONS!
Team GE are participating in the Chaucer Challenge to help raise funds for this project.
The Chaucer Challenge is a gruelling and exhilarating ride which is not just longer than other rides; it’s tougher! It covers a distance of 78 miles with a climb of 5500ft compared with London to Brighton 55 miles and 3500ft.
By clicking on the 'Sponsor us Now' or 'Pay on Completion' tab above, donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Children's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
Kind regards,
